Weekly Wellness Tip: Versatile Chamomile



Chamomile essential oil is one of the most well-known herbal remedies. Both species—German and Roman chamomile—share similar properties. Try some of these quick and easy uses: 
  • Rub on bruises, inflamed tendons, sprains, and swollen or overexerted muscles to relieve injury.
  • Mix a little in your evening tea to calm and induce sleep.
  • Plant some chamomile plants in your garden to repel insects.
  • Mix a drop or two in your favorite carrier oil and rub on dry skin to relieve itching, redness, and sensitivity.
