Weekly Wellness Tip: Careful Fun in the Sun




Take care in the sun without having to use products full of harmful chemicals.



  • Sesame oil provides a natural sunscreen. Just smooth it on areas that will be exposed and reapply during the day as needed.

  • Try Young Living’s Lavender Lip Balm to keep your lips moisturized and protected.

  • Mix up your own sunscreen…try this recipe from Young Living’s Blog: Use a ½ cup of V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex. Mix with 4-5 drops each of myrrh, carrot seed, and lavender oils and store in a dark, glass bottle. Apply liberally over exposed areas and reapply as needed during the day, especially if you are in the water.
