Weekly Wellness Tip

I try to have a glass of water beside me all the time to be sure I stay hydrated. I’ve found that adding a couple of drops of essential oil to the water encourages me drink more. Lately, I’ve been using grapefruit oil and noticed it seems to be making me less hungry. It has a sweet, tangy smell. Besides helping to curb your appetite, it acts as a diuretic, removing excess water and toxins from your body helping you stay appropriately hydrated. Grapefruit oil has other uses/benefits: it may brighten your mood (like most citrus oils), it stimulates the brain and emotions, and can be used as a disinfectant.
